Jewish family emigrating from Poland

In 1958, the Polish government invited the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (“the Joint”) to return to care for Jews repatriated from the Soviet Union. The Joint also assisted Polish Jews who chose to immigrate to Israel and other European countries.
