In 1986 Jim Henson collaborated with several other creative-minded people to create the film "Labyrinth." The film was directed by David Lynch, executive produced by George Lucas, starred David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly, and was based upon design concepts by Brian Froud. While the film lost money upon initial release, and sent Jim Henson into a period of depression, it gained a strong cult following in subsequent years, and still inspires fans around the world.
