In a seemingly simple shape, this pair of trousers has special designs such as the decorative pleats on both the front and back waist with extra cloth given to the crotch to make the it wearable. Each of the trousers legs is composed of two sections, on the border of which the direction of stripes change based on the changed directions of the weft and warp threads on the fabric.
Jino women would determine the width and locations of stripes of a piece of fabric when weaving based on the positions it will be used on a garment. No trim would be needed at all when the fabrics are ready to be used for the belt of a hanging bag, or the crotch of a pair of trousers, for instance, so that waste of fabrics can be prevented while the design of apparel is fulfilled to its best effect.
