Manjit Bawa’s work is charged with high-octane, vivid and pulsating colours, while his figures are often like free floating cloud like forms. His paintings are reflective and meditative imbued with the sensibilities of Sufi mysticism. Bawa’s work is often sensuous that is always suggestive and covertly depicted by subtle gestures and postures.

In ‘Jogen’ we see the painter’s use of glowing, flamboyant colours that glisten on the canvas. The figure with its rubbery limbs is a unique signature.
