Bernard Badura was associated with the New Hope Circle nearly all of his life. He married Faye Swengel, an accomplished painter in her own right. His interest in painting became increasingly overshadowed by his skill as a craftsman of hand-carved picture frames. One of those frames can be seen here in Moravian University, Payne Gallery's Collection around Faye Swengel Badura's painting "New Hope in September."
