Typical Gothic jug, so-called Hansekanne, with a very simple design. The jug's handle is S-shaped, the knob on the hinge with two small balls, it has a rounded body and conical knob on top of the lid. The maker's mark on the jug is unidentified. The jug is strongly dented and has a hole in one side. Yet it most likely dates from late 15th century and pewter items that old are very rare. The jug was found among scrap metal.
