Previously we mentioned that the author, Mr. İhsan Onnik, who also served as a deputy for İzmir in the 2nd Constitutional Monarchy was a very experienced and well-versed author in agriculture. Mr. İhsan Onnik is also known as Effendi Onnik İhsan. Here is Mr. İhsan Onnik's first book titled Kadınlara Amelî Sanayi-i Ziraiyye Dersleri (“Practical Agriculture Lessons for Women”), Sütçülük, Tereyağcılık ve Peynircilik Sanatları (“Arts of Dairying, Butter Making and Cheese Making”).

The work, which was printed as an illustrated 160-page book in 1915, begins with the preface about the duty of women in agriculture. In his book, Mr. İhsan Onnik states that he wrote this book with the hopes of facilitating agriculture for women, noting that both in the agriculture lessons he lectured, and in the gardens, fields and villages, women always stand out in agriculture and craft work, and that they are hardworking.

In the dairying chapter, there are drawings, graphics and visuals under the subheadings of cow's milk, milk deterioration, milk inspection and milk production. In the butter making craft chapter, the subheadings of manufacturing butter, cream separating machines, removing butter from cream, removing ayran from butter, putting butter in molds, butter preservation are explained in detail. In the cheese making craft chapter, interesting subtitles such as rennet, cheese cellars, fresh soft cheeses, curd cheese, moldy cheeses are found with visuals and sometimes with their French equivalents.
