Kate Barlow, student of the Royal School of Needlework's Future Tutors programme, based at Hampton Court Palace.

Hampton Court was constructed as the residence of Cardinal Thomas Wolsey from 1514 and became a royal palace. It is one of the most significant and best preserved royal palaces in Britain, and exhibits some of the finest craftsmanship and greatest innovation in English architecture.
