This khaat was regularly used in the baithak of the house by the elderly men of the family. The legs, made of sheesham wood, were turned and carved and had a rectangular base. Cracks had developed at the bottom of the legs due to irregular seasoning of the wood. It was brought out to the courtyard to be documented.
