Khaat (Charpoy)

These khaat recorded in a residence in Rewari were made from the wood of a big and mature kikar tree from the owner’s farm. Around twenty more charpoys were made from the same kikar tree and gifted to extended family members. The webbing of these khaat were woven using cotton ropes.
