Shapes and sizes of the brass blocks used for Khari printing.

The perforations are positioned at even distances, the patterns made-up of smallish dots and dashes as long and heavy lines or filled in motifs stiffen the surface of the printed textile, reducing drapability.

The motifs similar to those used in the zari metal thread embroidery and in gold brocade weaving.
