Mongolians worship Khayagkhirvaa as the keeper of secrets and as the “Morin Kholooit.” Before a horse race, jockeys recite Khayagkhirvaa’s Mantra. Even though Khayagkhirvaa is only palm sized, his ap-pearance was meticulously rendered, showcasing the skills of the individual or individuals who crafted him. Khayagkhirvaa’s hair billows like flame. He has three horse heads, wears a skeleton crown, and is adorned with jewels on his arms and body.
