Kit del Vecino Prendido (Active Neighbors' Kit) is a collection of objects and documents designed to help people initiate and guide community organization processes in urban neighborhoods. These materials help multiply earlier experiences by community organizers Luis and Jesús Álvarez initiated in Tampiquito, a Monterrey neighborhood, whose symbol is the a plaster lion. Hola Vecino, based in Monterrey, and Cuadra Urbanismo, their partners in Guadalajara, have distributed the kit in a number of neighborhoods.
