Konko Kyo Church

The Japanese Methodist and Buddhist churches were established in Japantown in the 1890s. By the 1920s, Baptist and a variety of Japanese religions had joined them. This photo shows the Konkokyo church, serving those of the Shinto faith, at 604 O Street.
