LA PHIL IN GREECE ON FIRST WORLD TOUR

The Los Angeles Philharmonic traveled for the first time to Europe, India, and Iran in an eight-week tour. From September 14 to November 6, 1967, the orchestra performed 39 concerts in Belgium, Luxembourg, Romania, Greece, France, Austria, West Germany, Italy, Yugoslavia, Turkey, Cyprus, Iran, and India.
