Ladislav Suchomel (* 1930) joined the anti-communist resistance. His group, which called itself the Jánošíci, resumed in the resistance through the overthrow of communist functionaries in the villages, but they did not kill or injure anyone. They were arrested during the preparations for emigration. Ladislav Suchomel was sentenced to 19 years, serving 14 years in prison, and was released in 1963.
