My inspiration comes from the lovely subject which is my wife. I’m very passionate about the art I create. Constantly asking and answering new questions in terms of where I am creatively style technique likeness and how does the overall painting feel

I wanted to Finish the portrait of my wife for our 2 year anniversary (June 11th) around the same time a good friend of mine (Josh Henderson) reached out to me about artpop in Charlotte that he recently participated in And encourage me to apply since they are expanding to Atlanta. So I gave it a shot

In the end I completed what I believe to my best artwork yet of the love of my life! I also brought my first house, experienced my anniversary for the second year, and found out that I was a winner of artpopatl.

So I was able to experience all of these things magnified because of artpop. And a bonus my art work was displayed at my job on the transit buses as well as bus stops. So The reach of this art work has been tremendous.
