This post card, mailed November 3, 1905 at 4 p.m. in the afternoon through Atlanta Georgia, and received in Union Union City Tennessee at 11: 30 a.m. on November 4, 1905, depicts Lake Abana in Grant Park, Atlanta's oldest City Park. The lake was a popular leisure space for park visitors. By the early 1900s, Lake Abana was used for both swimming and boating. As Zoo Atlanta expanded in the 1960s, Lake Abana was drained
