Lakhe House

Before going out to perform in public, Majipat Lakhe visits Rengal at Laganto worship and receive Nash Puja (blessing) for a successful day ahead. In the beginning Jyapu(a farmer clan in Newar) took the responsibility of watching over Lakhe. Later,Jyapu handed over Lakhe to Ranjitkar as they find this traditional social, culture, and ritual practice difficult to continue.So until this day, Lakhe visits Jyapu house to drink water and light its chilang (oil torch) to begin the procession.
