This is a woodcut print depicting Lakshmi seated over a lotus. She holds lotuses in each of her two hands and sits an akward position over a bigger lotus, with one leg handing down. She is accompanied by two attendents on either side who wear saris in the draping style commonly found in Bengal with the pallu in the front. They hold flywhisks with which they fan the central figure of Lakshmi. All three figures are enclosed within an architectural frame that features railings in the foreground, a pediment at the top, ionic pillars, hanging lamps and a curtain with a rope knotted in the centre - all referring to a stage set-up.
