Anothermountainman (Stanley Wong), graduated from the Hong Kong Technical Teachers’ College in Design and Technology. After completing his studies in 1980, he has had many different careers, such as graphic design, advertising and director in film production. He has participated in many international exhibitions in Japan, Holland, Germany, UK, Spain, Singapore and China, including “The 51st Venice Biennale” (2005). His works have won more than 400 awards in Hong Kong, Asia and other parts of the world. Anothermountainman has visited many parts of China and Southeast Asia, looking for unfinished developments and probing into the adverse effects of halted construction works. Other than capturing bird’s eye view or panoramic pictures of these unfinished buildings, the artist also uses the building units on the sites as backgrounds for this conceptual photography series.
