A white earthenware jar decorated with the figure of a crouching woman turned on her back and a swan with outstretched wings, both in chocolate brown.
Leda and the swan is a common theme in Art History, it comes from the greek mitology. The scene in the earthenware illustrates when the god Zeus transforms into a swan to seduce the young and beautiful Leda. This story is continually used as erotic. For Raul Anguiano the nude was a recurring theme and Leda and the swan as well, in drawing and printmaking.
