When folded open, the concertina folder between two cardboard covers shows twelve punched-out, coloured scenes with explanatory subtitles. Published on the occasion of Queen Victoria’s golden jubilee, the cover shows a picture of the queen in the form of a medallion framed by opulently designed lettering: “The Victoria Jubilee. Illustrating some of the principal events during 50 years reign of her most gracious majesty Queen Victoria from 1837 – 1887 in twelve reliefs”.
