Joffé, Mark; One World. [Carta] 1946 Oct. 7,
London, CAN [para] Candido Portinari, Rio de Janeiro, RJ. [inglês][datilografado]
Dear Sir,
We have much pleasure in announcing the foundation of ONE WORLD, an international review of the Sciences, Arts and Letters, the first number of which is in preparation and will appear early in 1947
This periodical aims at recording, in word and image, and in a spirit of impartial integrity, all true creative achievement.
The scientific, artistic and literary intelligence which ONE WORLD requires will be gathered through a global network of individual experts and eminent bodies.
If you feel yourself to be in sympathy with our aims and projected scope, as outline in the enclosed statement, we should be most grateful if you would become our correspondent in your own country for your particular subject, Painting.
Should you honor us by your collaboration, we will, forthwith, furnish you with all details regarding remuneration, frequency of reports, etc. etc.
I remain,
Yours faithfully,
M. Joffé
