Derived from the famous British “Lewis” gun that formed the primary armament for many Allied aircraft during World War I, this particular gun is a Japanese World War II copy known as a “Type 92.” This .303 caliber weapon used flat drum magazines with a capacity of 47 or 97 rounds, had a rate of fire of 600 rpm, and was effective to 600 meters.
