The installation "Lumière en Mouvement" or "Light in Motion" is the result of researches that Julio Le Parc, exponent of kinetic art and Op Art, has been doing since 1959, when he began to carry out experiments that involve light and artifice to reflect it on movable supports. In addition to an aesthetic appreciation or emotional evocations, the artist aims with his works of light in motion at integrating the viewer into the work of art, making the viewer essential for the circle of existence to complete. He also seeks to awaken the sense of activity and independence in the viewer.
