One pair of wool slippers; needlepoint in shades of green, brown and tan: deer head on top of instep: dog head on each side just below where ankle would be; leather sole; wool needlepoint is missing in areas; leather is brittle. Slippers worn by President Abraham Lincoln up to the date of his death. Presented to President Rutherford B. Hayes by Alex Williamson.
