This document is related to the Bracero Program, a federally sponsored labor program during the early 1940s - early 1960's, whereby migrant/migratory laborers from Mexico were provided for seasonal, mostly agricultural employment, often on the farms of California growers. The document provides insight into Hispanic/Latino/Mexican immigration and labor history, including controversies which surfaced during the "farm labor movement" of the years thereafter.
