But from a conversation I have had with Julius Nyerere and from his speeches and writings I have read, as well as from the way he is reconstructing his country, he gives me the impression of a man with an inquisitive mind and respect fro scientific method. He has aroused the hope in me that during his own lifetime he will put African socialism on a scientific basis.
