The Lovell Telescope is a radio telescope. It was designed by Sir Charles Husband for Sir Bernard Lovell, and built between 1952 and 1957. It is the largest and longest-lived component of the Jodrell Bank Observatory, and played a pivotal role in the development of the science of radio astronomy.
