Lumen Social Light workshops

"Lumen | Social Light" is a Matera 2019 project inspired by the idea of a community that brings light and turns into light: workshops throughout Basilicata have seen citizens build map pointers, inspired by the ancient tradition of illuminations, and bag-lights, portable luminous objects. The former were chosen to indicate various points of the city, the latter to animate the event of 19 January: a way to illuminate the past and future of Southern Italy
