“Lumos Helmet” is a smart device designed to resolve various bicycle-related safety issues. It makes bicycle riders clearly visible both at night and during the day, and the LED light on the helmet provides drivers with indications regarding the bicycle’s direction and movement. The triangular red light acts as a break light, while the two yellow lights are turn signals. With the provided remote control, which is waterproof and can be easily attached and detached from the handlebars, the rider can operate the turn signals, while an embedded accelerometer detects changes in the motion of the bicycle and transmits that information to the helmet.
