The Devil's Orchestra

Fan with ebonised wood sticks, the guards carved with elongated figures of musicians and acrobats with heads and hands of carved ivory.  The double canepin leaf is painted on the recto with a curious concert scene with devil-like musicians and a reference to 'le diable' on sheet music.  The verso is painted with a monogram, signed 'Alexandre'.
