This macha, also recorded in a chaupal, was constructed using wood with the webbing made of cotton ropes. It was used by the men to sleep on or sit and play traditional games during the daytime. It was kept in the semi-open space near a takhat. Macha were fewer in number as compared to other types of charpoys.
