Edition: Published 24 June 1797 by G. Quinton; sold by W. Stevenson, Norwich. In the second state, the prostitute’s hair was neatened and her expression made more sweet. This print and its pendant, DAC 1996.22.1, were intended to benefit a charitable institution.
