Han Tao is from Dongjing. He wields a lance made of jujube wood and excels in martial arts. He used to be a drill instructor in the imperial army in Chenzhou. He is nicknamed "General of Hundred Victories" for his might and expertise in warfare. Han Tao is one of the leaders of the Liangshan cavalry. In the end, during the campaign against the rebel leader Fang La, he falls off his steed after being hit in the face by an arrow fired by Gao Keli and is killed by Zhang Jinren’s spear.
