Majju (Cabinet)

In some majju like this example, carved figures of male musicians, female dancers, or a woman with child, sometimes adorn the vertical members on the front of the cabinet. These features are similar to figures observed on carved door lintels and arched windows from the Vagad region, specifically in Banswara.
