Making the slider bars for the valve stem

The slider bar for the valve stem has a complex design. I started with the basic shape, by rolling cardboard over a cylindrical rod and laminating paper over the cardboard to keep the shape. The pinion from a 1950 Morris Minor steering assembly, proved to be an excellent template.
