Manja (Charpoy)

This simple manja was placed in the courtyard of a house, along with a few others. Usually stored inside the house, these charpoys had been brought out in the late afternoon for the family to spend an evening outside. Metal bracings were fixed around the legs to prevent the wood from splitting near the joint.
