Manuscript Cover

The rectangular openwork plaque of gold enclosing five frames within a floral border all set with cabochon rubies, emeralds and diamonds. The centre frame depicting a dancing peacock, its body delineated by a long cabochon emerald with its gem set tail spread out behind; the frames on either side with a cow in cabochon rubies set amidst foliage and the two outer frames depicting a dancing figure in each. The plaque is enclosed within a plain gold box like frame.
