Map of the northern hemisphere of the sky in a circle divided into 12 parts. Circles marked on the map: polar, equatorial, tropical and ecliptic with a shift characteristic for Poland (Kraków). The map's circular perimeter marks the ecliptic line on which the figures of the twelve constellations of the Zodiac are placed. In the middle there are figures of other constellations of the northern sky presented in two ways: some are antiquated figures, such as Perseus, others are dressed in contemporary costumes, such as Cepheus wearing a high fur cap and a short caftan.
