Marble Staircase View 1

Ariana Huggett (Milwaukee, Wisconsin) spent a year as an artist-in-residence painting interior and exterior scenes at both the Villa Terrace and the Charles Allis Art Museums. The resulting paintings show a year’s worth of change through seasons and exhibitions, while also revealing some of the hidden views we don’t often get to enjoy. This painting was shown in an exhibition entitled "House Tableau" (2019), at the Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA, and curated by Shana McCaw, Senior Curator.
