Banner, cream silk damask ground with polychrome embroidered floral sprigs, edges trimmed with silver metal thread wrapped braid and purple silk wrapped cord, appliquéd diagonal stripe of purple silk satin painted with lettering 'MARIA EDGEWORTH' in silver, lettering outlined with red and orange laid and couched threads, lined with purple twill woven cotton, 'Women's Suffrage' stencilled on the reverse with gold and silver paint, two strips of synthetic braid attached to the left corner with a blue wool tassel on the end, five tabs along to edge for hanging.
