Mark Richards Victory Wetsuit

In 1980 Newcastle surfer was in the middle of a run of 4 straight World Surfing Championships. Out of the water he was a softly spoken mild mannered man, but once he put on a coloured vest he was a competitive animal. His surfing persona took on the look of a superhero with hypercoloured surfboards and wetsuits, where this might have looked garish to some he had the skill to back up the attention he attracted. This chrome and orange wetsuit was made by sponsor Victory Wetsuits and MR is seen wearing this suit on the cover of Surfing magazine and in a number of movies.
