Protecting the islands of tomorrow, today
One of only two countries in the world made entirely of low-lying atolls – coral deposits on the crater rims of submerged volcanoes – the tropical Marshall Islands are truly beautiful. Because these Pacific Ocean islands between Hawaii and the Philippines sit barely a metre above sea level, they are also acutely aware of the modern climate challenges faced by our world. The Marshall Islands Pavilion invites you to discover the islands’ history, ambitions and challenges, and share in the opportunities they offer.
