Martha Graham on Helen Keller:

"Helen used to come to my school at 66 Fifth Avenue. She felt as if she was watching the dancing. What she was focusing on were the feet on the floor and the direction of the voices. She could not see the dance but was able to allow its vibrations to leave the floor and enter her body."
