Melbourne Cricket Club membership fob, season 1940/41

Melbourne Cricket Club Membership Medallion from 1940/41 season. Circular medallion features red enamel outer rim that read 'CRICKET' on left and 'CLUB' on right. Blue enamel inner background with two brass 'C''s between the large white enamel M (with 'MELBOURNE' written along top outer rim) in the centre. Red enamelled and brass dates in the centre. Brass back features membership number 2236, and reads, "NOT / TRANSFERABLE / SEASON ENDS / AUG. 31ST / 1941 / K. G. LUKE / MELB".
