Members of Club's March Past Team Present to Prince Charles

During the display, the 17 year old Prince at one stage left the dais and walked through the sand to talk to members of the surf boat crew who had just ridden a wave to the beach.

Gordon Cunningham, a crew member, explained in reply, to a query by the Prince, the way in which a boat's crew "caught" a wave and then invited Prince Charles to "have a go".
