Projeto Portinari
Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Composition in black and white. Contour lines and some shading. Scrawny dead body being of a boy being carried by two hands. The child is in the horizontal line of the support with the head to the left. He has an angular face and no hair, eyes closed and deep, and mouth ajar. The right arm is falling vertically. The hands that hold the body are facing up and we see the outstretched fingers. The right hand holds the child by the back and the left holds him by the legs. In the lower half of the support we see two photographs pasted.
