In the eighteenth century embroidered flowers invaded the male and female wardrobe, often inspired by oriental tastes. In the domestic sphere, gentlemen wore precious garments and a variety of comfortable head garments, among which a helmet-like hat (zuccotto), a sailor-like cap or a turban.
